it stiffer bushes, with less give in them, resulting in more vibration and a stiffer ride

"poly" is an abbreviation for polyurethane which is a type of plastic that is hard with a certain amount of "give" and is extremely durable and oil-resistant.

compared to the standard rubber bushes this will give a firmer ride where you will feel *every* road imperfection. The plus side is you also get better "feel" and control of the suspension

All M5 tourings were LHD...and there weren't all that many...around 1000 in total, IIRC

All were 3.8 6-speeds too...

This one is *very* cheap...Not seen one under £7.5k before

Sweeeeet. Does seem cheap though, & there's hardly much information there!
They're all LHD btw.

Not the LHD drive bit then :)

I'd say it definitely needs looking at!

If it was nearer, I'd definitely have been round to have a look. Couldn't really justify keeping it long term (my E34 touring is a daily driver!) but I would love one of those. Actually, I think I'd be very tempted to sell the E30 & have that as my only car 8O

EDC is (expensive) adjustable suspension - Just mentioning that it has the switch is a bit weird though! :)

It means that the car originally had (and may still have) the "Nurburgring pack" which is EDC (electronic damping control...adaptive damping)...Expensive (circa £1k per corner) when it goes wrong so a lot of cars that originally were fitted with it are now fitted with standard dampers and springs.
