i have just brought a e36 compact in dakar/daytona yellow its a little faded in places does anyone know what will bring it back to life

bloody e30's mines in the garage tried to sell it but no luck so its sitting there now(still loved). :x

all depends how bad it is and how much its faded,
if you can find some autoglym "radiant wax" that should do the job.
ive also heard mer is ok.

I would try Autoglym Super resin polish as a strting point, should restore some shine too it.

only problem is, resin polish doesnt really cut,its more suitable on quality paint finishes

The only real way is a proper de-greasing wash & dry,clay bar, another wash & dry, machine polish, glaze and sealant / waxing.
were up in derbyshire and as a guide a full machine polish will set you back £350 notes and will take full day+++ depends on condition. But it will then look the dogs.....
Will take out all light scratches, swirls etc but not deep scratches , dents or previously poor respray / repair work.

oops forgot i posted this thanks for all the tips i might try some harly's wax no.1 yellow brazillian!i wish i had 350 notes would love to see the results and ill pop some pics soon as i polish the beast!and on a brighter note my lady is letting me keep my e30 aswell plus it owes me too much money to sell it at the moment!
