Scottish Events 2009

Just thought i'd strat the post as there's not been much mentioned regarding events for 2009


1. Zone Roam Mini Roam

For those who can't do the full 4 day trip but fancy the oportunity to experience some of the finest backroads without the hefty price tag of the full roam.

Dates to coincide withn Neils trip(Sat/Sun only)

Those interested should contact me so we can get pitches booked at the campsite/s.

Dates now confirmed

Meet Fri 1st May at Kyle of Lochalsh(late evening)
OR somewhere between Kyle and Ullapool(TBA after i've discussed the route with Neil)on the Saturday
Sat 2nd Ullapool
Sun 3rd hoon around/photo opportunities, then home


For the budget conscious on the Friday night

There's a campsite in Balmaccara,which is approximately 2-3 miles East of Kyle for those interested
Pitches are £12 per night for tent,car and up to 2 persons

There's also the possibility of a Nurburgring trip to coincide with the Le mans 24 hr Endurance race OR with Oktoberfest beer festival in Munich for those who are interested.

There's also a monthly meet planned in Aberdeen at Frankie and Bennie's on the last sunday of the month, starting on 28/12/08

Hey Jonny.
Aye, they're heading right up North and across the top tae John o Groats/Caithness and finishing in Aviemore on the Monday evening.
There are/may be a couple of other's heading to Kyle for Saturday lunchtime, to meet up with the group once they've completed there tour of Skye, before heading to Applecross and then Ullapool on the Saturday night.

There are 1 or 2 changes to the itinery, due to accomadation issue's but that's about it.

The Aberdeen meet's are still held on the last Sunday of every month at 12.30ish.

I'll be unable to attend this months meet, so it may be worthwhile posting on the Aberdeen Meet thread to see who's planning on being there this Sunday.
There are 1 or 2 who may not be there, as there prepping for the West Coast meet,which ties in with Zone Roam the following weekend.
