This light on my dash in my sport has just come on and won't go out, but it did flicker once when turning

The only thing i've done is chnage my passenger front wheel bearing this evening after work? And it was fine before this

All i noticed was the sensor wire for the brake pads was torn, which is the same as the rear. So now i have 2 lights on brake sensor which was already on cos of the rear and abs. Are these related? Am i a fool?

Please bear in mind when it comes to electrics i am a complete spastic

Thanks!

When the abs light comes on it is usually a faulty/dirty sensor. As you have just been doing a wheel bearing maybe its covered in dirt . They are magnetic and will attract all sorts of sh1t. Also was it the correct bearing that was fitted? As some don't have the ridged lip for the abs sensors to detect movement of the hub.

If you stated that the bearings were for an abs kitted car then it's their mistake. Fitted to the car or not. I've had parts from both GSF and Euro that were in wrong boxes i.e. labels on boxes were correct but wrong contents. Must be more common than I thought - I thought that kind of fcuk up only happened to me.

told them e30 325i, abs as standard on these cars, so i shall tell them! Cheers mate.

I thought when i had a look in the box in the shop it didn't have those rigid things on them, but didn't know why or thought anything of it

You could let them have the repair bill as well but see how you go first before issuing threats.
Was it in the wrong box ? I was told they only make them for abs cars now as they can still be fitted to cars without abs.
