hope this in the right section & not a repost.

now i class myself as somone with a bit of brain when it comes to tuning an N/A engine & while trawling ebay looking at supercharger/turbo kits i found this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ELECTRIC-SUPERCHA ... 240%3A1318

& i just wondered if anybody on here had seen it before or even used one or had any idea as to how it workes? it just seems a bit of a gimmick to me.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

I just used a hair dryer powered by a 240v inverter. Excellent for cold starts as you can pre-heat the intake for even more power loss

Must say, they aren't as grinding as the twisted bits of metal which go in your inlet making the air more turbulent meaning u get more fuel and power winkeye

I particularly like the picture of the air filter on it's own to the left of the "dyno graph" - You can just see the POWAAHHH coming out of it :D

or the electric thingy which wraps round your fuel pipe to "straighten" the atoms in the fuel for 10% fuel savings and 20% more power winkeye

BTW the same crap IMHO is the anti lime scale thing for you water pipe....

I met a guy once who tried to tell me these were great - the sad thing was that his son had bought a load of them to set himself up as a distributor. I didn't really know what to say to the poor guy.

It seems all to easy to import rubbish from China these days, i dabble in a little bit of import/export myself but am always really carefull to avoid the junk.

Found this trader the other day should be getting a sample sent out soon to see what the quality is like............
