i recently saw scott sl=elling a 325i sports gearbox??

whats the advantages of this and how is it different?? will it improve speed or acceleration if fitted to lower model cars like 318is or other cars? will it fit at all??

Not sure if it will fit an M42 mate, might do, really dont know. Only thing i know that is differnt is that its a close ration one.

not a close ration but a close ratio 8O and only (normally) for first second and third,...forth and fifth same ratio as non-sport boxes.

dont know if six pot and four pot are interchangable, dont see why not should only really be a different prop-shaft.
