Got the 173 mild chip a few days back (arrived next day after I ordered it!) and fitted it today, first noticed that it was a lot smoother, need to check more over the next few days - thanks very much - great service :D
Previously owned loads of old E30s, E34s, a few E36s, E32s, E39s and an E38.

Currently in a diesel Audi - miss me old E30's....

Fast efficent service and good communication throughout the transaction. I would definetely buy from again.

I've always been a bit sceptical of chips for naturally aspirated cars, but for 30 quid I thought it was worth a punt. I went for a mild chip for an M20b25, no other mods apart from a Scorpion Lemans exhaust and a dodgy K&N induction kit (both fitted by a previous owner, prior to the chip). The gains from the chip were quite noticable. The car seems a lot smoother, particularly in the low to mid range, and much crisper throttle response. It's also moved the rev limiter up to a point where I don't find myself bouncing off it in the heat of spirited driving. Very pleased :-)

Thanks Maurice.

Lots of good communication, very fast responces to PM's & postage.

It took my car about 250-300 miles (combined driving) to settle down - I'm quite happy to bin the factory chip 'cos it's never going near the car again after having ones of these little beauties.

Definatly one of THE best drivability options for £30.

Torque is smoother, city driving is more responsive - rev's better & no waiting for the 3.5k before the 'pickup'

Got the 173 wild chip a few days back and fitted it , it's sorted out my idle, i'm still getting used to the engine mods i've done, bbtb, 172/172 cam and hottuning 6branch manifold + lightened flywheel. so far i have not and will not be bouncing it off the rev limiter but low down power is smoother and it takes off 3-4k , - thanks very much - great service

Many thanks speedtouch

Brilliant delivery (next day). Good communication. My 325 feels much improved (not sure about fuel yet). Also ordered one for my bro's 320 which he's enjoying. Well worth the money.

Thanks again

Spot on work from Speedtouch. Got me a mild chip and all I can say is wish I'd done it sooner and £30. One swift transaction and 20 minutes of fitting and it's completely different car. Mint!

Recently purchased some new fuel lines from Maurice.
He was good enough to hold onto them for a couple of weeks, till I could collect them.

Much appreciated. :thumb:

Was good to finally put a face to the name .

Sorry I didn't have time to stay and chat.

Huge thumbs to Speedtouch, Fitted a mild chip to my 320i SE, just after giving the car the full works. Service, Plugs,Oil,Oil Filter, New K&N Panel,Fuel filter, New thermostat, Also Fitted a new standard exhaust, and obviously the chip. Left it ticking over for a while then went for a spin taking it through the rev range and the difference is brilliant best £30 of anyones money. Also super fast delivery.

Can't recomend enough. Fitted the mild chip to my 325 and its made it so much better to drive, smoother throughout the rev range and its got rid of the irritating judder I had under slight throttle at speed. As above, best 30 quid you could spend on your e30. :D Cheers Maurice.

Another :D customer!

Ordered a mild chip saturday, installed by Monday eve. Faster delivery than...my car now feels! Also, Speedtouch is patient enough to explain how his product works - if that's not going the extra mile...

I'll add more to this once I get more miles on the clock, but taking the car to 6900rpm is pretty sweet esp with the exhaust on the car. MPGs have gone UP at 70mph cruise - so far, excellent!

Highly recommended, at £30 it's so cheap to miss out on!

More excellent feedback for Maurice - Chip worked perfectly and the instructions where very easy to follow (even for know-nothing-about-cars-idiot like myself). Great immediate comms and next day delivery - spot on transaction!!!
As above the chip does what it's supposed to and the new limit is cool as!
Many thanks,
Alasdair

p.s. What does that "wild" chip do again.......?????

rite what can i say? had some trouble with the chip at 1st (not speedtouch's fault but my own as the car did not want to play and had the worng ecu for this particular chip)

speed touch sent me 2 replacements and they did not work (due to my ecu not been compatable) i got the ecu i needed and put the chip in and it works great, he has been very supportive and has helped how ever he could he offered me a full refund but i wanted the chip to work in my car as i have heard how good they are from other zoners.

the chip:

is more than i could have expected my car had the ebay pro-perfomance chip in and the speed touch chip is far far better!

it runs smoother than ever, there is no flat spots like the ebay chip and i have also noticed a good increase in mpg! the power is unreal! my car is a 525i non vanos with a few tweaks like bbtb and fan delete and piper viper 2 induction and no word of lie this car is now faster than a 535i i know as i used to own one!

to sum up he really is a great seller and really helpfull and the chip as stated above is awesome! i would reccomend him to anyone and if you have a m50 non vanos do your self a favour and buy one of these!

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :D :D :) :) :) :) :) :)

i am one happy chappy!

Big props to Maurice(Speedtouch) for his service and patience !

another + from me here. As an early xmas pressie to the old bus, I bought a M30B35 wild chip on friday and it arrived today (monday).
rushed home, popped it in, let it idle for 10 mins and went for a blat....

it's brill :D

the idle is spot on, steady as a very steady thing (never was before) and it pulls a lot smoother. the old M30 used to start running out of puff at 5400 RPM, now it's smooth right up to the new 7000RPM limit

it's running with a 37mm (iirc) LPG mixer (read restrictor) so the top end is always a little blunted but it;s a lot happier now

my highly calibrated arse dyno reckon's it's quicker but i'll have to wait til the next eastbourne dyno meet to get it back on the same rollers for a proper back to back comparison...

cheers Maurice :D

Thanks for the mild chip, it arrive super fast, had it installed for a few months, no problems.. I can't tell if its going better though, as I had a 2.7 engine which i killed, when I installed the factory 2.5L engine in I put the chip in before 1st startup :)
