Drop looks  40mm or 60mm?

I would only lower 40mm max :)

haha, i was just looking at the pics of your car. the front is 60mm. the rear is standard at the mo. but will be going down about 40mm i hope. i dont know what the rear springs i have lower the car by as i took them from a friend. he thinks it might be 60mm, i hope not. its perfectly fine over speed humps so i am happy.

Make sure they are cabby specific springs, otherwise it will not lower the said amount.

60/40 drop looks nice

yeah, i heard the cabby springs are slightly bigger and able to handle more weight. is that true?

i will have to fit them and see, they are only temp as i will be saving for some coilovers.

Cabby and touring springs are stiffer and harder to allow for the extra weight at the back (cabby roof and extra boot space in the touring).

2 door springs will fit but if they are 40mm they will drop the car about 45mm :?:

Well thats wrong mate you shud drop the back by 60mm and the front by 40mm have you not seen 60/40 drops meaning back then front you can do a 60/60 but drive careful mate i have to as i have a 60/60

The engine will bring the drop lower anyway with a 40mm drop at front and 60mm on back as it wont get affected that much, i thought. :?

the front indicators are smoked but used the orange lens at the mo until i pick up the silver bulbs that flash orange.

the back needs to come down. its not beed lowered on the back yet. i have 60mm springs, looking for some 40mm ones.

didnt expect it to be so quick. was looking for the b's and found a set on ebay which i snapped up asap, they need a refurb but well happy with the look.

i want to find a tech 1 kit now and see if i like the look. if not the tech 2 kit is sitting in the garage.

not much of an update, i had a heating issue, i swapped the electric fan for a spal extreme one. that didnt help so i re-wired all the wiring to the fan and found it was spinning it the wrong way. its now sorted the issue, the car does not get hotter than half. i need to get a bigger alternator now so looking for a 140a one.

here are some pics of the car taken yesterday. the more i look at it the more i think keep the chrome and not bother with the tech 2.

kidha Singh, I'm using standard shocks and spax springs to get it through mot. I'm looking for a decent setup. Not sure what to get.

thanks mate. I have a few plans and some nice tricks to go onto the car. Hope it comes out right.

Rav, I have not sprayed it yet. I'm toying with a couple of ideas. I will update as soon as I get it done. Next on the list is suspension and strut brace. How is the e21 coming on?
