SCOTT325SE - gone to ground

Or so it seems. On Sun 15th. March I sent money for some discs and was told they would be sent the "tail end" of the coming week. 2 weeks later they still hadn't arrived and a pm remained unanswered for a week. It was only after I sent an e-mail via here that I got a response on April 4th and yet another promise to send them, this time on the Monday (April 6th).

It is now the 14th and nothing has arrived, nor has there been any response despite yet another uncollected pm and unanswered e-mail sent via here. Seems to me that this guy is wholly unreliable and cannot be trusted to keep to his word. This has seriously soured my feelings about buying from the zone. When buying via here, I pay up front and don't mess about - it's a pity SCOTT325SE can't be bothered to do the same.

There is a whole load of stories like this with scott, everytime there are plenty of excuses, personally I wouldnt buy from him because of this

Yes - I should have searched beforehand instead of just assuming that a long term regular is probably very trustworthy. I got the:

ive been away from home for a while and then in hospital and now just getting my sh1t straight.i'll box them up today. i think it will be monday before they get sent

Which I found somewhat difficult to believe, then he said he'd lost my addy! I'm raising a dispute with paypal, so there's a fair chance of getting the money back, but what a waster

I plaster my phone number all across the zone, so contacting me outside the zone shouldnt be a problem when im not here..... and if I havnt collected my PM's, dont you think theres a fair reason that I havnt been on? £22 of your money is not the reason!
Your discs have actually already been sent. They've gone with DHL via parcel2go website and your ref no is P2G2214589. Barcode No the driver gave was JD0002267423784394.
Maybe unreliable is a fair lable to stick to me, maybe not. Inconsistent delivery speed is far more accurate. Ive never had someone be pissed off with the quality of an item and im not a c.u.nt (not that you said i was or anything) but im not a bad man..... i just have far far far too much on my plate.

Just for the record ive dealt with Scott a few times and all parts arrived in good order.

I hope this is a courier fault and get rectified.

Maybe a bit of communication with the buyer would have helped this tbh
Even if its only £22.
Text or pm so they know whats going on and everyone jumping to conclusions and going through this all over again .

We all have a lot on our plate, but if you offer something up for sale or respond to a wanted ad I think that it's a given that you can be arsed to send it once the other guy pays.

Look Scott, I'm not a mind reader and how the hell am I supposed to know whether you're genuine or not? All I know is that you took ages to answer one pm (it needed an e-mail via here to get you to do that) and failed to answer the next. 2 weeks after the discs were supposed to be sent, you promised to send them immediately. That was 3 weeks ago. I'd given up on them arriving and decided to put it down to bad experience. Couldn't be bothered with pfaffing with paypal for such a small amount of money.

They are now at Exeter according to the site. They were collected from you on Friday morning and arrived at the Exeter depot at 2.19am Saturday morning. Maybe I shouldn't have been so impatient

but we are over 5 weeks down the line. I've ordered new so all of this has been a waste of time and money.

Well I've got a sh1t load on my plate as well, but it doesn't stop me from keeping to my word nor does it make me mess others about.
