Fella, you've inspired me to do my plain mirrors i got (from Scott325SE) which will replace my broken/flaked away colour coded mirrors I've got now.
Well done!

Looks a lot better doesn't it (not saying that in a "my car's better than yours, ner ner ner ner ner
" kinda way
) - hardest bit will be deciding whether to just do the top and bottom or the whole bumper body-coloured

You need a dechroming kit for that.
Not sure about the engine that runs fine, it doesn't put any power down above 4,500rpm.
However it's a 316i and isn't ever going to be fast so I just potter about getting 40+ mpg
I've posted a pic up of the front (with whole bumper painted) before, I'll find it

Aren't the door bumper strips the same as the side strips?dazleeds wrote:aaahhh but if you do the bumper strips surely you would then have to do the side strips on the car as well??????

Here's a pic of the front with the eyebrows on and bumper painted:

Was just after some fukcer drove into it while it was parked - doesn't look like much damage but I was a "little" pissed off as it was a perfectly straight car before
