Hello , i'im looking for a 2 door 325 to use on track days only , and this is not a very easy task in Switzerland , almost all the cars i saw have been modified .

But , there is one beautifull Alpina B6 2.8 from 1986 with 145.000kms , and the car is just like new . Is this a reliable car for track days , are the Alpina parts easy to found ? Did someone have any experience on this cars ?

Thanks for your help .

Parts are hard to come by,
but some still available at the dealer
With great challenges comes great engineering.

It is a Sport , but infortunally a Swiss version , standard gearbox and no rear diff.

Allready with a brand new HR suspension kit , new Brembo brakes , big service , oil ( Motul 300V 15W50 ) , belt , filters , spark plugs , etc , and next step is to repair this front wing .

The car is in a very good shape , just amazing the quality of this E30 , i have also a E30 325IX ( the 4WD ) and it is the same . Why buy a new car , when he can have this ones for much less .

Next , a 325IX rear diff with a few modifications .

Thanks .

Yesterday i bought for very small money a 325i 4 doors from 1987 with the same color , so i have a car for the front wing price . And a lot of parts that i can use also on the 325IX .

Can wait to drive this car ...

1 year lather and this car is going very strong ! With the Toyo Proxes , the handling is simply wonderfull . In places like Dijon , is able to play with bigger and faster cars . No problems so far . Just need à close ratio gear box , the same as the 325is . And so easy to drive .

Is 256.000kms now , and the same engine , gearbox and clutch .

I'm looking to a good exhaust , and somehere in the forum , i notice a small topic about BTB , anyone have a exhaust from them ? I order à few parts for a Lotus Omega from BTB , and always good stuf .

Also need parts ti improve the standard gearbox , does any one knows about ?

Thanks for the replys .

... that's the 325IX , sold to buy a 2 door IX from 87( more light) or a Mazda 323 GT Turbo 4x4 , for the winter only .

Yeah , with the 325 2WD is huge fun , the car is really perfect , the set-up , H&R Cup suspensions and the Toyo are just amazing . Is hard to believe that a 18 year old car is hanging on the back of the Elise's , in strait line , they are gone but once a corner coming , hello again !!!

My co-driver bent the rear wing last March in a very wet Dijon !!!

Next week , the 11 of Juin he are back again to this lovely track .

Just change the rear diff , the standard 3.73 is gone , and welcome a 4.10 from a 325IX (4WD) and maybe a electric fan . Change all the bushes , keep the standard . The only thing this car needs , is more speed .

Still very much standard , bar the brakes , suspensions and the tyres . And a good diet !!! Is about 1.100kgs , but still a few things to remove like the sun roof .
