Hi guys,

What size is the diff drain plug? 12mm or 14mm?

Going to change the diff oil tomorrow morning, but I've got to get the tool and want to get off to a flier.....

Any advice greatly appreciated.

TIA,

Alan

Alan, dont forget to try and undo the filler plug first before you drain all the oil out.

Thanks for the advice, done in 20 minutes once I'd got all the bits.

Went and got a trade card from Halfords this morning, and thought ok, I might get a bit of a discount.

I ended up paying £0.79 for a drain plug socket......bargain. But that was because it was the manager who was serving me and the socket wouldn't scan.

So he charged me for a pen.....lol

Bargain mate! I went to halfrauds a few years back looking for an air filter for a very old 320i I had. They had a few left end of the line sort of stuff and I got one for 2p! Yes 2p! - I bought 2 actually, well why not at that price eh? winkeye
