Hello everyone,
Apologies if this has been asked before - the search engine is not being my friend today!
Have just put a Z3 rack in my 325 sport (an awesome conversion by the way - recommended!!) and have noticed that the (standard) exhaust downpipe just glances the steering linkage when cornering/drifting hard on left turns. The engine mounts I currently have are standard and new. Just wondering if anyone does uprated mounts in poly? Had no luck with Powerflex....
Alternatively, thinking about jacking the engine up a touch with a BIG body washer under the standard mount or smacking the downpipe to get a bit of clearance - a couple mm more should be sweet- anyone done this?
Many thanks!

The downpipe needs to be heated before attacking it!

Good engine mounts from www.burtonpower.co.uk for an escort rs mexico, cheap and proven by others. . .

Can anyone suggest how to test if the boot lights are staying on with the boot shut?

Tried this on the M60 manifolds. No joy! So I had to sell my Z3 quick rack! Not happy!
