think 2 coats of paint should be fine and one lacquer

maybe three coats as long as you just don't make 1 coat to thick if you know what I mean,
youre better of with one coat extra than 1 that is sprayed to thick and runs

as u feel dude :D its only to seal the paint in, and give a better lustre to the paint, also , when u polish, wou wont get to the paint colour so quick, and so it shouldnt pink so fast

For using/suggesting Turtle Wax as it's supposedly shit!

Though I've never had any problems and it's more than cheap enough :)

Well it says it's called TurtleWax "Color Magic" and then it's got "Plus+" with a yellow background - it's in a red bottle and it's got a chipstick too (though it doesn't work).

Got it in Halfords, 2 bottles for a tenner I think, and each one lasts about 8-10 waxes.

Enough info? :D

I thought T-cut was a more abrasive one that you're meant to use occasionally - though having said that I know bugger all about wax

I do know the colour enhanced one works well on red cars though! :)

tcut is an abrasive,.. so uԚ´ll be taking a v. fine skin of paint / lack off every time,..

a polish is just that, someting that givs a shine

a wax, apparently gives the car a hardened shell  but i dont see it

can also get polish / waxs, polish / abrasives and so on with all manner of "magic ingrediants".

use whatever one u like the result of

what i was trying to say was that t-cut is best for restoring colour

Definitely not.

Firstly it immediately becomes more shiny and secondly it leaves the residue of a normal wax anyway :)

I would try the colour enhanced stuff every few months to save it from going pink - the difference in colour when I first used it was fukcing amazing

It is indeed :thumb:

Thinking about this a bit more, perhaps T-cut would be good for the first time to get some colour out and then use the colour enhanced stuff afterwards.

Although having said that the Turtle Wax stuff worked great on my pink (white in some areas ) paintwork.....

remove the rubber. the paint can easily be removed before it is dried properly (days)
I use brake fluid to remove paint. but im sure you can get away with other stuff.
