Its done this before, i managed to bend the inner arch back in but its done it again

What could be causing this? the tyre looks fine and thats the only thing i could think could cause it

any help welcome

soft damper rate cause by wheel hitting arch needs to have arches rolled ... as it will keep happening everytime you go down a large bump

Bend it back in, hammer it flush and roll the arches slightly (heatgun on paint and hammer/coke bottle/scaffold bar)

It is definitely being caused by the tyre.

i think they are standard dampers fuzzy

cheers for help guys

Think its only 40mm lower with 17 alpina reps

The picture makes it look lower than it is plus the drivers side wheel is on a curb which makes the gap look smaller

would you recommend new shockers? aftermarket ones? got Eibach springs

new spring and shock kit easy aftermarket for reasonalble money is the hottuning good kit cheap price
then car will be stiffer and not as low
you want either 60/40 drop or 40/40 kits

What size tyre are you using?

Too big a tyre on 17"s can cause it too as well as using wheel spacers.

But, standard shocks with lowering springs are never really the best anyway so I'd reconmend Bilstein B8s 8)

how much are they guna set me back? a lot im guessing???

im using 215/40/17 tyres, i know that 205/40's would have a smaller size outer wall but it would be minimal so i doubt that would change much. Plus this would change my rolling radius.
