Anyone tried the Renovo soft top canvas reviver on their cabby ? I am thinking of trying it out but I am scared it might turn out worse than it is now.

Still saving up for a new soft top.

Not tried this product myself, but have heard and read nothing but praise for it.It will not work a miricale, that hole/tear will still be there, but it will help waterproofing.

Yes. I cleaned the roof of mine yesterday. I was going to buy the autoglym kit but all that is is a detergent spray, a reproofer and a sponge for £20. Instead I hoovered the roof to get the dust out and gave it a really good clean with a sponge and soapy water. When that had been rinsed off and dried I used the renovo I bought £7 for 600ml spray. I used about half and it came up really good. Havent got any picks yet though but would definately recommend it. It was a lot blacker when I finished

I have heard good things about it too, but never used it.

Ive used the renovo plastic window cleaner and is was great, so can only assume the soft top cleaner will be as good. However I have used Autoglym canvas roof cleaner and that was really good also. Let us know how you get on if you get some.

I used the hood reviver (blue colour) a few days ago. I got the kit with the cleaner, reviver and ultraproofer in it. It was quite expensice at about £45.

It has brought a lovely colour back to the canvas, but does have some 'application' marks that maybe due to my brush skills.

My only point would be that the roof now looks like a different material - its hard to explain but it has made the texture a bit rougher, almost like a tarred flat roof on a cheap council house.

I have yet to apply the ultra-proofer, but it is possible that using this will also change the appearance slightly.
