My glovebox handle mechanism for my 325i cabrio has broken and I am unable to open the glovebox. Can anyone give me info on how to get into the glovebox without breaking breaking it open. Also My car is left hand drive, does that mean if i do have to break it, it will have to be replaced by LHD glovebox, due to the wires for the light etc.

Any help much appreciated!

Hi Mate,

I approached a locksmith who said it was something to do with a spring or something inside the mechanism going & it could only be opened from the inside. Was this the same with yours?
