I think it's the ol' school charm shining through.

These are nice motors to drive aren't they? :)

'specially since in the past couple of years I've seen most the council lot move onto the e36 compacts etc, and in few cases the e46.

You know something goes council when it goes by on chrome wheels and stock suspension with 3 inches between the tyres and arches.

Maybe its because you move over to let them past?
Bikers will always give a thumb for this (or finger if you dont)

Very few of them do in my experience, so I rarely bother now. :x

i never do. im in a fast car but i wouldnt expect other slower cars to pull over so i could squeeze up the middle. they can wait for a safe overtaking place like everyone else has to.

i bet he was roaring up between the lanes at much greater than the speed limit but still considered it your fault?

The other half is a biker, and whilst protesting that he hates ALL 'cages' (his term for cars) he seems to be getting rather keen on driving my E30. Rear - wheel drive and throaty exhaust are probably something to do with this, along with the fact that he can now control it when he drifts it on the way to the supermarket

From a practical point of view, a lot of them are a lot lower than some modern cars, so hinder bikers' visibility less which will be appreciated.

My opinion for what it's worth (not a lot) is that E30 owning and bike riding are both definite 'life choices', which makes our cars stand out from the usual tat on the road.

Finally, all surveys that I have read in Bike Magazines state that bikers are most likely to be hit by Ford Focus's on tuesdays, especially if they are called John and ride a red bike. E30s are never mentioned as a high threat :D

The white one is another blade, an original RRN, The exhaust on that one from memory was a standard one on its right hand side :D . . .

This is a gallery pic I found, the same model but not the same bike

The day was a rideout from a blade forum. We left this area with about 12 blades, met up with another group of about 20 before meeting the final 25 or so for a good blast to Hunstanton for fish and chips on the beach . . .

A fantastic day out  . . .

the early blades (like your with the drilled front spoiler - but two round lights) and the old GSX's from the late 80/early 90's with the huge slabbed rear section are my favorite bikes!!

must be the dual round lights...hey just like an E30!!

nice bike mate...summers coming for you lot!!!

They went from 893cc to 918cc - 929cc - 954cc, now on to the 1000 RR's from 2004 . . .

Still love the original "badboy" from '92 and the foxeye "urban tiger" from '93 - '95

Nearly forgot about the Daddy of the blade family, the Evoblade !

The Evo Blade TT100, was designed and built by RS Performance and Tadao Baba (or Baba San as he was affectionatly known, the original blade designer) to commemorate Honda's 100th senior TT win and to compete against the "new" R1 when it came out.

It never made the homologation limit of 250 bikes sold, due to it's high cost of £22,000 OTR. Only about 25 bikes were ever built, the rest of the kit parts were sold off to whoever to pay for the project costs.

they used to go down the lord derby pub just of the m3 in odiham - was the biggest un orgainsed bike meet in europe sadly has been declining since all the pigs stop people parking on the roundabout - good times
