k you tell it stright? ok then

Firslty let me jump on that reply...

So you wouldnt spend money on a plate and 'give the goverment money' but you buy stuff for your car and pay tax on it? you can see where im going..complete pointless reply..

and rubbing peoples noses in it? what you talking about..you can pick em up for a couple of hundred pounds..its a Mod ffs..why do you spend any money on yer car? to make it look better, faster, put money on it?

that reply was...well i dunno what it was..no offence intended BTW..i just tell it straight

And as for the nonsence thing...na i dont expect that when i post in here TBH..and i havent seem much 'nonsence' to be fair but some of those reply just got on meh dangly's a bit..

I post something i was pretty exited about to share with 'the Zone' it got jumped on..period,didnt want or expect a 'do private plates suk dummy throwing contest'

ty

1) I did say 'give the Government MORE of your money'... I put petrol in my car if that's what you mean
2) rubbing peoples noses in it was in the same sentence as M5 NEW and 911 TOY

I've seen lots of nonsense on the Chat board; it's nearly always lighthearted, and only occasionally do people take things too seriously.

it's not my style either in a way, but these arguments end up going round in circles

it's always better face to face!

Me and chaos plus richy of course had a good time lets say over a similar trivial subject

I like my avatar it reminds me of where i've been, and where i certainly don't want to go back to plus i can't find a better pic for there! Ain't no photoshop

This is obviously a subject that gets many people going and I can honestly see EVRYONES point of view.Suppose a "personal" or "private" or "non-dating" plate is just a matter of taste.Personally I've seen some that are cool, some that are tacky.Alot of owners just want a relatively cheap non dating plate (some Irish plates),some want to advertise their business or profession. What makes me cringe are the scripts along the bottom of the plates eg."JOHN AND JANE SMITH" or whatever just incase we can't work out what their plates trying to say and they've wasted their money!Oh well, free speech and all that! Now does anyone have CHR 15 for sale! :D

I can see the dislike for plates and it does seem like a waste of money some times but also a way of making money. I currently own a chassis with the plate JJO999N which has been valued at Ԛ£1500... only problems is, without an MOT I cant transfer it... PAIN IN THE ASS! anyone got an old unused MOT cert they want to share ;)

also, I thought of one plate that you cant deny would be cool for my m535... M535BMW, however, someone somewhere already has it apparently... hope its on an m535! hehe

I have E3 BEN on my car. Does that mean i have a personality disorder then? The E30 signifies that my car is a E3 series and the BEN is my name. Can someone tell me what's wrong with that. At the end of the day, private plate is a personal thing just like the colour of your car or the type of alloys you decide to put on your car. Some will love it and some will hate it, but i dont think it's right to be judging someone cause they decide to have a plate. It can also be a good investment. My mate has sxx 1 on an old Merc and it's worth major dollar. He bought it about 20 years ago for peanuts, so when he sells it for the big bucks it's worth and is laying on the beach sipping cock-tail in Brazil somewhere, i'm sure he wouldnt really care what anyone though of him

My thoughts exactly..Its the way i was judged or was put in a catorgry that got on meh danglys...

like i said before..i look at it as a mod, like any outher mod its your perosonal preference..like you say some hate, some love but NO ONE here would turn one down i bet..

the 'Personality disorder' reply was quality, even the GF found that funny :? so i know it truly sucked..

Just waiitng for the formal stuff to get outa the way and its ON!

Chav,Chivvy,chineve,chiili'V'...what ever.. its mine dammit and you aint avin it! ---H4 CHV--

still would of loved it to be H8 though instead then it would have two meanings...lol

JAMZ I reckon you should ring that lottery winner bloke and sell it to him for seroius money. He calls himeself the King of Chav' so he might want it. He won over Ԛ£6million so he's not short of a bob or 2. You can then by a plate saying F4CK O to all the haters  I love my plates. I also happen to own D17UGY & D4DY B, and i'm hoping they make me a fortune someday  8)
