Can anybody remember any good old car adverts?like the vw one where the mk2 golf gti is sqweeking and the bloke is searching all over the car for the noise and it turns out to be his missus earings? the slogan.if only everything in life was as reliable as a volkswagen?

One of my favourites has to be the ad for the MK4 golf where the cars are crying because they have been councilled up.
Very appropriate when you look at how many sad MK4s are 'cruzing' about.

Barry, can you find the montego one where russ swift does the h/brake turns,and shuts his coat in the door?

One of my fave's, that I can't seem to find was the Mk II golf advert where the car breaks down on a motorway bridge, and it refuses to start, the camera then pans out to show a section of the bridge missing, and the famous 'if only everything in life was as reliable as a vw' line appears.
