you can get uprated bosch 044 pumps for under a hundred quid if you know where to look

that ebay pump is from a 1985 b reg car - why not try and get a newer one?

with the looks of it id say its been replaced at some point in the cars life span... also if you get it for around £20 it gets your car running intill you can afford to spend £100 on an uprated one and as you say "you need to know where to look " so why not go for this one... gets the car running

a clue of where to look is on the rally sites.

I used to get 044 pumps from the rally guys who would only use it for a rally then put a new one in.

Never had any issues with the 044 pump on my car.

I've got one of those pumps knocking around in my garage doing nothing, you can have it for £15 incl postage.

Don't suppose you have any spare 044's lying around by any chance.

I need one to take the feed from the swirl pot.

Sorry Dave - got rid of the pumps when I broke the car.

Got loads of other bits left over but no pumps :(
