Hi guys, not been on for a while due to screamin baby , and a naggin bird !
My question is ..... What should i expect to pay for 4 17" Alpinas, wheels only , that are currently being refurbed by quality bloke ?
Just a rough idea is all i want , to see if i stand a chance of affording them ! !
If i cant come up with the wonga then i will post again to let you all know the price and contact for the shop.
Its my understanding that these wheels are gettin a bit thin on the ground , is this true ? ?

Cheers Jibbers :)

Yea im good mate.

Here's a quick explaination;

Latest news is my car is a write off, they wanted to give me Ԛ£650 for it but i refused to accept it.

So i sent off auto-trader ads, written evaluation from an idependant BMW garage and they get back to me with an offer of Ԛ£1100.

So i accept it.

They then deduct 30% or Ԛ£330 for me to keep the car, that leaves me with Ԛ£770, then they deduct my excess, leaving me with Ԛ£100 which i got in a cheque the other day

They say i can claim my excess off the other guys insurance but he hasnt admitted fault yet :x

Its all just pissing me off now.

Good luck with the wheels, as you can see ive got 15" BBS's on at the mo.

Because you got the motor back does that mean that you can repair the car , or have they called it a total loss ?
Im not too clever when it comes to insurance, all i know is that when a tosser reversed into my GTE the repairs came to more than the car was worth , the insurers paid out top book and i got the car back for less than Ԛ£150 , they said it was easier to do that than to pay a company to come and get the car , i sorted the car myself for Ԛ£100 and that meant that i came out with a new front end and Ԛ£750 in my pocket ! ! !

I just wish i could find the tosser again as i still have 2 spare E30's on my drive with good front ends and my 325 is in need of a couple of wings anyway! ! , plus the extra cash would then pay for the Alpinas !!!

NO SUCH LUCK I SPOSE !

I have got the car back, thats what the Ԛ£330 cost me and i now repair it from the money they paid me for the car.

If/when i get my excess, it should leave me with about Ԛ£200 in my pocket.
