Fuzzy has a cossie engine in his, don't think it's a 2.9 though.
As Blingsta said, anything is possible, you can get a V12 in a E30
Depends on how much cash you want to throw at it

V6 out the Granada Cosworth i'm guessing. My mate had a Sierra XR4 in 12v form. Still a lovely engine.
Don't see any reason why it shouldnt fit, case of getting the tape measure out i would think.

The 2.9 24v cosworth engine based on fords cologne v6 is a good engine. I have rebuilt one after the timing chain tension went slack and bent some valves, this was due to lack of oil changes!
I wouldn't put one in an E30 though! An M52B28 has near on the same power and fits a whole load easier.
If you have the 24v engine, put it in a Sierra or capri.

It is odd that some one havent used an Audi 2.2 or 2.3 5 cylinder engine in a E30...
It maybe the best engine for tuning and what a sound it makes!

Despite the "aquired taste" looks, the frog eye 24V was a very good peice of kit and in terms of engineering, was a step up from the mk3 granada/scorpio shape.Morat wrote:OMG, you just reminded me of the froggy look scorpios. hahahhahahaha.

A very late frog eye scorp' with the smoked headlamps and colour coded front grill with a set of 17" softline RS seven spokes looked ok.

Must be a very acquired taste - I'm a fan of plenty of blue-oval stuff but when they brought out the frog-scorpio that pretty much killed my interest in new Fords.bss325i wrote:Despite the "aquired taste" looks, the frog eye 24V was a very good peice of kit and in terms of engineering, was a step up from the mk3 granada/scorpio shape.Morat wrote:OMG, you just reminded me of the froggy look scorpios. hahahhahahaha.

The last of the pre-frog 24v Scorpio is still one of my favourites though - still the quickest I have ever driven a car - if I had the space I would love a Dark metallic blue one with the black leather trim - proper car !

I always prefered the saloon.
If only they made a manual 24V or even a 4x4 24V!

Waste of time.
What are you going to gain by spending all those hours labour putting it in. It would be massive work to retrofit, and you will end up with a car no better dynamically then the car it came out of.
