You can't show them off round these parts, damn thieving scum.suchy wrote:Ugly and cumbersome- look too agricultural. Hide your speakers not show them off and put them in the proper place

Why would you want to show them off? Subtle is far more impressive...maxfield wrote:You can't show them off round these parts, damn thieving scum.suchy wrote:Ugly and cumbersome- look too agricultural. Hide your speakers not show them off and put them in the proper place

Yes they do look quite cumbersome. Although they're not as bad as some custom set ups I've seen.suchy wrote:Ugly and cumbersome- look too agricultural. Hide your speakers not show them off and put them in the proper place

Well I like all things loud. I don't drive around windows down with no sound insulation like the ol' corsa's do. I just some want SERIOUS volume! I know components are the best thing since sliced bread for clarity but when you're hacking down the road some serious cranking is in order!!R4N_S_S wrote:if you are into high DB systems you may want these as well as possibly a set in the rear. 2 x15" subs with plenty of power and job done or you can go the 4 x 12" route. Drop the Ohms and you're laughing.
A mate had 2 x12s, 7x10s in the rear shelf and components in the front in his E30 years ago - sounded very good.

If you have front components and a sub, set up well, you shouldn't really be missing bass up front, as lower frequencies are non-directional. Unless you're going for a really, really serious system!!!!psychochild187 wrote:i was tempted by the door speakers because the standard size and place speakers are just to small to have bass.
