is an e21 a good choice to road rally with on a budget.ps i live in the caribbean

It can be but what are the other options and is tarmac or gravel.
They are a lot cheaper than 02's or Escorts but there are cheaper cars that could be better

it for mainly tarmac but i heard from a mate that they don't handle is this true?

The e21 'legacy' if you like is that they can have a wayward tail through high speed turns. Of course they are antiquated by todays standards too. Coilovers and a good set up tend to eliminate the former.
