The BBB BBQ Suffolk / Essex borderlands

Now that the weather is getting a little better and the nights are getting lighter its time to start the bbq's again.

Slight change of plan from last year we are going to hold the meet on the first sat of april (the 4th)

Burgers and drinks we be supplied like last years.

We will be kicking off from about 5.30 6ish but we will keep you updated.

It's a converted World War II US airforce base and even sat nav's struggle to get you to the right gate and inside. Best thing to do is when you get there give either BBB or me a call and we'll guide you in. (that is if the boys aren't burning the burgers, then you'll see the smoke ayway!)

That was a mission. With Kevin and Mary leading the way and Shaun (Turkey) vanishing and Murphy not knowing what day it was. Arriving at a gate that obviously hadn't been opened since the war. lol

Worth the effort though, always good evening.

Easiest way to get to us is down the a12 turn off a junction 32 i think it is its sign posted for East Bergholt and Hadleigh B1070, at the junction turn right and follow this road through Holton St Mary you'll go round some sharp bends and there will be a turning on the right signed for Notley Enterprise Park (its the first right turn after you've turned off the A12) turn down there then its the first left onto the enterprise park a quick blast down the (worn out and uneven) runway right turn in front of the big grey hanger and you'll see a couple of E30's and then you have arrived.

Any problems give us a call we're getting quite good at drirecting people to us that get lost usuing sat nav!!

My brother will be doing the shopping tomorrow, i was meant to today but had a MOT which it failed so i had to sort that out for the retest 4 hrs later and i got a little side tracked with a new toy aswell. M535i and a long runway couldn't resist...

I'll be hard pushed to get there that early Dave, all depends on the sitters getting here. I'll stay in touch by morss code unless you've managed to find a phone with decent reception in which case I'll text.
