It's going to look the nuts mate. You seem to be doing everything that I want to do to mine! Thanks for being a major source of inspiration - I'm off to yank the rest of the interior out in a bit!.. winkeye

nope just cleaned the inlet ports, removed the heater plate replaced everything i.e gaskets/hoses etc

Don't think that's dremel action on the manifold, think that's a shot of him cleaning it prior to painting.

Exhaustwise is a full s/s system and the intake mods are a cold air induction pipe stright to the afm.

What chip are you using mate? and have I missed any of the mods to the intake?

Don't mean to sound like a nay-sayer but that's a pretty impressive power figure!

Just out of intrest when you fitted the arbs did you notice that the drop links are at a very tight angle? when i had mine jacked up they looked fine but when i lowered it back to the floor again with the arbs on the stiffest setting it looked like as the suspension moved up it would put alot more streign on the drop link pulling it more left/right at 45degrees rather than being more up/down as you would think, might be worth just checking.

I'll try and get a pic as it abit difficult to explain :?

yes thats suppose to do that, the end-link will be under slight extra pressure and a slight angle change due to the stiffer arb and the 3-way adjustable settings, if you put it on the softer setting the end-link will be at a lesser angle and therefore will obviously be softer, my dads Track M3 has H&R ARB's within 7laps of the ring and about 200odd miles of german country roads they worked themselfs loose (rectified with white-line ones), so if i expereince this problem i will just upgrade to some rose jointed ones from white-line.

made a few adjustments to the seat recently fabricating some extra-low subframe mounts

Always wanted to build a track day car, maybe by the time I'm middle aged it will be financially realistic. *Is jealous* Good work thus far though. Will keep an eye on this thread.

stickers have finally arived after about a month...

just a feeler for the time being.... im thinking of selling my current suspension setup . (51mm struts) Bilstien B12 inverted twin-tube dampers with my spax 60mm springs - they are superb, very comfortable for road use and are still capable for track work. reason for sale = im going a bit more "hardcore" and need the adjustability

if you would be interested pm me for more details etc

took it for a quick spin around the block.. tracking/toe is obvisouly way out, so i will be doing that tommorow, but from what i felt steering is so much much more responsive, quick, bit heavier, smoother, tight ! etc etc = around awesomeness, how it should of left the factory

once tracked up i will give her a good run down the lanes ;)

Can't beat fitting the Z3 rack, loved it on my old iS.

Definately get a lightened flywheel fitted, i went all out for a ally JBR flywheel and the difference it made was awesome, the throttle repsonse felt pretty, much instant.

'A romance explosion on wheels'!? Are you thinking of going into advertising?
'It looks shit-hot' would be more appropriate surely
