hi i have a South African 325iS evo 2 and was wondering if anybody on here knew of any others on the forum and where they are in the world. i was led to believe that this maybe the only one in Britain and thought this would be the place to ask!

What sort of set up does the 325is have. I know the 320is has the s14 engine...how does the 325is differ from a normal 325i sport

Without going into too much detail:
-2.7 m20 engine. 215? bhp
-A few aluminium body panels- wings and bonnet(?)
-M3 suspension with 5 stub hubs etc etc

evo 2 had ali bonnet, doors and wings. The donk was an Alpina 2.7 built at Buchloe and shipped over and suspension straight from the M3 ala 5 lug with m-tech shocks and springs

Alpina had a big hand in the development of the 333i also

To be exact, the evo 3 had Japanese market spec M3 suspension.

South African market only E30

Basicly a metal bumper 2dr with a 3.2 M30 engine installed using various Alpina B6 parts. Alot of the development was done by Alpina.

Not many made and only in 4 different colours.
Quite well specced but you had to chose between A/C or power steering!
They had 4 stud 16x7" genuine Alpina alloys but with BMW badges instead of alpina ones.

It was a homolagtion special to go saloon car racing in as SA did't get the M3.

Not earth shattering. I think only about 210 bhp.

I'd love one of those Evo 2s, Next time I'm in SA I'm going on a hunt for one winkeye

I don't really see the point of the 333i to be honest... ok it's rare but who cares when the 325iS Evo is such a better car.
