in the back...
Is this a suspension problem or do I have the wrong wheels on the car?

Maybe your passengers are a little on the large side...
Standard wheels and suspension should present no problem with carrying 5 up... unless you've got larger wheels or lowered suspension...
Giles.

Yeah. If you want that many passengers you might have to go with lowered wheels and larger suspensionGeeman wrote:Standard wheels and suspension should present no problem with carrying 5 up... unless you've got larger wheels or lowered suspension...

Standard supension and even 16" wheels with 205/50/16 tyres should be fine. I haven't tried with lower suspension or bigger wheels than that but they might work too. I think I have had 4 people in with those wheels and slightly lower suspension with no problems.

I've had 4 in the back, with 16" OZ Saturn Plus's and a 60mm drop, and still no rubbing. Might have something to do with your wheel offset maybe...

Mine, lowered with the Eibach Pro-Kit (so no cut springs BS) does this occasionally too, with 205/55R15 but it has really low offset (13) rims.
I'm planning on just installing slightly larger bumpstops one day...

I think someone stole your radio! Looks like a good spot to put some extra guages though, in a custom thing so they point slightly upwards.shane320i wrote:Im running on 17's and it did catch on the rears occasionally when 4 up...........................this seemed to cure the problem tho![]()

215/40/17's on a 40mm drop rub without bloody lardy arse passengers in the back!!
I can't boot it at all in 1st and 2nd, too much of a horrible noise from the rear....gonna get the baseball bat outta the boot and "tap" them back under a little bit.
Never had issues with 205's tho.....best get them next time
