m20 stuck in gear

as above i was drivin in town last night and went to go into shop. Came out in first gear and went for second and that was it my stick came back but it did not change. My stick will not go from side to side the only way it will go is back or forward what could be up

KK Went today got the caron the lift everything seams connected the pin ect. is there anythin i can do or is it new gear box time

Get some new engine and gearbox mounts.
Then make sure Part 1 is in part 4.

every thing is connected
