Fuses and Front fogs ..?

Has anyone got a fuse layout diag ..? or a list that will show me what each fuse is for..?

Also specifically do you know which fuse is for the front Fogs.

fuse list is in manual if you have one.

front fogs if you've just fitted them also need a relay to.

can't be arsed to go to car right now to get manual but I'm sure somebody will have one to hand for you mate.

yeah just fitted and no joy where does the relay sit ..?

also no manual ..i'm running blind..! thats why i wanted a diag..!

Left Fog light - Fuse 29
Right Fog light - Fuse 30
Relay K8

The relays are the black/orange cube looking things in the fuse box.

With the plastic lid on the fusebox, you should be able see the numbers of the fuses and relays. Without looking, I think relay K8 is the one above fuses 29 and 30.

it will be missing if the car didn't have fogs as standard but you can do testing with one of the other black relays.

I guess a zoner, gsf, or dealer would be the place to get one.

come to think of it I have a couple spare I think.

The only other black 5pin relay Ive got in mine is K4 (low beam headlights and rear fog light).

You can use that one to try the front fogs, its the same relay so all you need is to get a second one of those.

K4 is the relay above K8 when you are looking from the passenger side of the car.

Yep ...that worked a treat swapped K4 for K8 and they work a treat.!

Now ...

Do any of you nice people out there have a spare black 5 pin relay you can send me...I'd post 100 times how helpful you are if you can send me one...

I'll have a think ...not got any parts i'm afraid ..got an old mangled front valance or a tool kit tray (with no tools) or some 14" BMW wheel trims ...but i'll think of something suitable...
