Has anyone else thought of perhaps changine the Guildford meet venue, Burger King car park is pretty depressing, with the summer approaching it would be quite nice to perhaps try a pub or something. The Fair mile in Cobham springs to mind, the landlord is a car enthusiast and he holds loads of club meets already, or maybe newlands corner, there were a few meets there last summer I beleive.

I was just wondering what peoples thoughts were really.

We tried the Squirrel Inn once but that was in the winter and it was to dark with no lighting in the car park.

Si hates Newlands corner. Theres no chicken burgers there and he's not into Dogging!

Have to say, in the summer when it's packed, the ladymead venue is a good laugh (remembers the ginger cock with the rover c/w shite install pumping crap, and Si dancing up to him). In the winter it's pretty dire. Only ever the die hards go the distance.

One of the plans from ages ago was to do some driving around box hill and that kind of thing. Might be an idea sometime.

Don't get me wrong ladymead is fine, just not all that inspiring, the fairmile is a nice pub, a mate of mine who's in to Hot Rods goes there a fair bit, he informs me that they do a BBQ in the summer months, I like BBQ's, Burger King is like eating a pet.

I believe that was my suggestion oops :o: A good pub in the summer, yes. I'm up for a change, but there's not a lot at Newlands as said before. Was gonna suggest Loomies on A32 but they have biker night on Weds!
