Hi, Yet again another post about water in the footwells. I often get water in the rear passenger side footwell after a rain. What I have worked out is that it only seems to be when the car is parked on a camber leaning towards the passenger side (nearside) of the car. What I learned today is that the water appears to be pooling under the rear seat also, so dont think it is sunroof drain tubes. Any other ideas.

are you driving the car in the rain or is it parked up awaiting it's new lump.

Bingo. Just looked at my last MOT may last year. Its done 2.5k since then! I cycle more than I drive. Its still in useable state, but with any luck wont be in a couple of days.

A bucket, sponge, a glass or vase, old t shirt plus a tap that works.... Do you not want to find and possibly solve a problem ? Is the car miles from a source of water ?

Stop paying your friends then and buy a hose with your new found wealth lol

Hmmm you make a persuasive argument. The car is not far from water. I could push it into the sea. Its only up the road.

if it's a saloon check the fixing of the gutter to the body above ad at the rear of the rear windows. One of mine had the situation where the plastic tab that the gutter pops into was split allowing gutter water to flow into the car where from it ran down to pool under the rear carpet footwell.
