Can I please get a quote for a new alternator for a 320i (Post '88 engine).

inc. shipping to the channel islands?

Also, a facelift radiator, all piping, a heater matrix, viscous fan & coupling, resevoire and temperature sensor for a facelift 325i (+ Any bits missing from the cooling from my list....). I'm planning to re-do all cooling so whatever is needed (I have a new waterpump, belt, tensioner etc). I believe I may need a "crossover pipe"? If you can supply them, if not i'm sure they are simple to get elsewhere.

Whatever you can do from the above would be great, Cheers.

Cheers, but I'm not sure if that will help. I could get you the chassis number for the 320i (for the alternator), but for now its a 1990 320i Automatic (all completely standard). Thats all I could give you for now.

The 325i is a funny one. It is a 1988 325i with an earlier engine. Unsure about what year the engine is, but it is a "pre-facelift" engine. Currently it has the earlier "pre-facelift" cooling setup, but I can fit the later type to it if I get a crossover pipe (which is probably easily to aquire off any later M20 engine), along with whatever else is required. I'll look more into this now to double check. If you really need it I could probably get it sometime this week, but it wont correspond to the engine....

What are the differences with the two heater matrix, other than plastic and metal outlets? I never knew there where different ones?

Even if you could just check up the 320i alternator for now, that would be great, as mine really needs replacing before it blows some more electrics 8O... unless you need more information.

So let us know if you still need chassis numbers, and i'll get them this week.
