Got the m3 running right this evening, fitted a new bmw coolant temp sensor in the pouring rain and an induction kit and it runs very very sweet now. reset the ECU to try and get the best power possible on V-power and its not bedded in yet but it already feels more responsive and the noise from Dave's creation of a hybrid induction kit is awesome... well chuffed, now i just have to get the speedo fixed so the damn wipers work properly, fucking modern cars

Ah i got mine today and it really is a nice bit of kit. everything fits well. the heat shield is lovely and professional looking with sound deadening and rattle proofing and fits like a glove. i coulda done it on the cheap but thats not the way im approaching my m3, gonna do everything properly and expensively lol! i particularily like the cold air feed that comes from the brake vent on my car! i know what you mean though!

Dave F is essentially a K+N that comes with some heat shield and ducting but it has been tested a few times now against other "shielded" gruppe m type kits and open induction kits and has always come tops. The difference may only be a couple of hp from a gruppe m rep but its a few tenners less too. Guess your paying for development and a proven product.

Glad to hear its all running right now fella. Im still trying to hunt down an intermittent light misfire on my m5.
