How many people here use their Bimmer as a daily driver? I've got a Transit Connect which I pile the miles on something chronic, only get the Sport out in the evenings/weekend. Would break my heart and probably my wallet to use it every day....

I've got a 2nd, 3rd and 4th E30.
I've got a 1.4 pug 309, which I use daily to go back and forth to work, which is about 35 miles daily. My touring is used by my missus daily, which is only about 10 miles a day, then my M3 only usually comes out on the weekend. The other E30 is going to be my track day tool, which has been sat in my garage since March, is still work in progress!

The E30's usually my daily driver (when it's on the road at all that is)
However, plan is to keep on cycling into work when the car's done to keep costs down, so suppose it's a second mode of transport?

Ive also got a 1988 325ise and 1990 325ise which i am hoping to turn into my own personal drift projects but seeing i havent got a clue what im doing, its taking a little longer then i had anticipated and its also the reason you will see lots of HELP!!! posts with my name on them on the site

My motorsport is garaged for sunny weekends and eves only, with my GSXR.
Also bought, new the other year, a Mitsubishi Galant v6 24 with all the ralliart bits as my daily and a Mitsubishi space star for missus.
Mitsubishi - vastly underated, extremely reliable and great value for money IMO.
Originally used the motorsport as a daily for 3 years but it was getting hammered with all the crap British weather and roads. Couldn't afford any others at the time so had no choice.

My E30 is my daily driver (only a 316i) but my main love...
My weekend toy is my gs600 bandit ...but i gotta sell it soon..
My life is at risk if i keep riding with all the nutters on the road ..i pushed my luck too far already
Although the good news is that when i sell my bike i can buy another E30
YAY

my main transport is the works van, 28 foot long sprinter van.
then there's my future wife's car 1.2 clio. known as the snot rod. believe it or not it quiet good fun screaching around a round about at 20mph.it feels fast but your not speeding.
then sat in the garage is the 325i sport.she was my everyday car until she was ironically killed by a jap'car.
but she will one day rise again. in fact not that much left to do now.
she will be a 2nd car after her rebirth.
