there not particularly quick anyway, when a 1.4 16v corsa can easily keep up you know it aint fast

i want to do away with the sub as its big bulky and heavy im going to keep the amp and mount it on the firewall in the boot, i am also contemplating removing the speakers out of the rear as i have a nice parcel shelf with no holes

i'am a bit of an oem fanatic at heart

or if anyone has any 5.25 inch pioneer speaker grills

ive got a set of comps in the front in tweeter pods but they dont produce much bass if any

My friend had a little 1.4 16v corsa, about an N-reg. The book said 110BHP at the wheels, so adding losses and less weight they should be quite well matched. Lotus did that head too.

try getting an 8" shallow sub and put it behind the drivers seat (with a grill from maplins over it) and a small amp under your seat.
my mate has one in his 309git, sounds ok not as crap as you might think, only draw back is you can only put people with short legs in the back.

i had a pionneer active sub years ago i had it under the seat of my old volvo, gave a good massage going up the m1 cracking sound too...........
not seen one since i sold mine though,

you could always get a square sub and put it in the ski hatch then put th arm rest up to hide it
