I am looking to junk my 2 litre engine and replace with either an e30 2.5i or an eta 2.7i but am not able to do the engine swap myself as I am disabled. Can anyone suggest a mechanic or garage that won't charge a stupid amount if I supply all the parts?
I am also on the hunt for some lowered springs if anyone knows of any going cheap? I know this is e30zone but you never know.

Exactly, its your conversion thats egging me on actually. Like you said, the e21 is so much lighter and seeing as I have even less weight due to the lack of roof and half the glass, I'll be more than happy if I can get anywhere between 170 and 190bhp. I just need help with the work since breaking my neck, back and pelvis though.
Many thanks. I think I have found myself an eta 2.7 but got to have it brought up from Bristol. I'm also on the lookout for an e30 2.5 incase it falls through though. Might take a drive over and see what sort of stuff you do sometime though anyway?
