My e36 is affectionately known as the 'Barry Wagon'. My e30 supposedly has a name but is only ever referred to as the blue car.

What he said!powelly wrote:Yeah, usually c*nt, bast*rd, wan*er, or any combination of the three, usually dependant on what/how much has gone wrong with it at the time.

Mine's just ''the touring'' although it's turning into a money pit comments from my friends make me smile.
''Why dosent this old thing rattle when my 3 year old clio does'' was a good one
The escort i had was either the Escrote, shed, turd, the SI (on the very few occasions it did me proud) or the scrapper...... bag of crap that was but was good on fuel for a 1.8.

Ours is just usually "The Bimmer" or "The Touring", although we did also give it a joke name that our friends tend to use: "The Sheriff". The reason? When we bought it, it was as rusty as a sheriff's badge...

The Gold One, The Convertible One, The Silver Driveway Ornament. Although I more often use the last 3 letters of the reg to differentiate.
And if your car has a person's name, you need to get out more.

I will resist giving the steriotypical male answer to your question Fi, but as for car names, i,m not sure how " i,m just nipping out to give Sebatian a good service " would be met.beemerbird wrote:Why do you all think that E30s are girls / women?
