Im thinking of getting a set but not 100% sure about going back to balloon tires.....

But im thinking if i put 50 profile tires on them they would look tiny in the arches?

Any pics off bbs on cars would be good

Thanks

15 or 14 in bbs?

205x55 seem comon on the 15s

I run stock 195x65 on my 14s but that's stock, not really good for performance. don't really care how it looks though.

Ive had 205/50/15s on the back of mine. They did look a little small in the rear arches, but I reckon it was only really noticeable cause I had 205/55/15s on the front.

Would probably look ok if you had them all round.

think should have gone for 205s as theses look too small, going to lower it now to fill the arches.

I run 205/55/15
My spare BBS with r tyres are 205/50/15 and I found them fine
They're cheaper (for normal tyres) in that size too, but the load index of 205/50/15 isnt as high as it is for 205/55/15, not sure how much of a problem this is
Anyone know anything about load ratings?
Cheers,
Robin

i dont think there would be a load problem, altho if you put a 50 & 55 on the rear you would work the diff pretty hard

Hello mate ... thought the site was a bit quiet with you away on your travels !! Found a guy on den blÃÂ¥ avis .... had 3x 15" and 2x 14" with centre caps ...ALL BRAND NEW ..never even seen a tyre !! Then Saturday went up to that guy with the "spare" ...bought that too. SO now I have 2 14's ...don't know if I should sell them or buy another 2 for winter use ??
You know if I need to buy new mounting bolts ??
