Check out this manifold on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 81344&rd=1

ONe of the pics clearer shows a Hartge plaque.

Now look at this picture:

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b127/ ... /BTB-1.jpg

This is the BTB........looks identical! Infact it is so damn close its unreal!

Both have the exact same downpipes with the X section aswell.

I have had a few more looks at different pictures and it is an EXACT copy!
Therfore anyone buying the BTB can assume they aree buying a Hartge copy.

The headers on each branch are equal but the branches have different lenght headers.

This is why a X pipe is put in (also known as a balancer).

It may not be a copy at all, Hartge may have used the BTB design.

UK alpina's used one made by Janspeed.

whats the outside bore diameter of the btb pipes? Cos my magnex 6 branch is a good few mm smaller than my pina system. Will smaller pipes make a difference be more restrictive?

Bore size of manifolds is a subject thats best left to the engineers.

Point is this, the BTB works. You can feel it once it fitted and its shown on Bexleys dyno's to give a very healthy improvment.
