Has anyone had experience of having the front and rear seats recovered.
Its an E30 M3 and the seats are already leather however there worn out.
I wondered what the typical costs are or company recommendations. I am in the north (leeds) if I could find a supplier of the leather and knew the amount to buy I could possibly do the job myself.

You have to be careful here. You get what you pay for. Ask on here for previous customers experience and ask to see photos AFTER the car has done a few miles. I've seen people pay through the nose for a retrim only for 18 months down the line, it looks like a pile of dogs shite. Poor quality hide being the main reason.

they have done an e30 before, looks good but i hate them door cards, they should have fitted the proper ones that came with an e30 with leathers
them door cards are council imo
the prices seem too good to be true

it is tempting, i would quite like grey leather in mine, but i would want to see a car that had a retrim with them a good few years down the lineImysE30 wrote:Not a bad price TBH. White interior hmmm

I don't know what my fellow zoners are smoking or where they get their info from about costs but If you really want to go cheap there is a guy on the bay offering exchange seats in Leather for about £650
these are even cheaper
http://www.bmwinteriors.co.uk/leather-interiors.html
and these
http://www.mjinteriors.co.uk/prices.asp
http://luxuryleathercarinteriors.co.uk/ ... 8&srch.y=7
there are these people nearer to you
http://www.precisiontrimming.co.uk/gall ... riors1.htm
now this is the one you really want...
http://www.gibsontrimming.com/
http://www.gibsontrimming.com/gallery/t ... p?album=16
its obvious to me that the cost of a basic re-trim averages at about £850 but what you add on that costs the dosh...and obviously most of my fellow zoners only use the best...or most expensive

Unfortunatly,I have never seen a reatrim where I thought that IMO the leather was 100% taught enough!
