Is the head from a Motronic the same as the one from a Jettronic ?

both 2.0 one is an 1987 an the other an 1989.

Just read that thread mate and it sounds like you have been done by m1key. Give him 48hrs to reply then I think you should put up some sort of warning post in the for sale section, a bit nasty I know but we can't be letting people get away with this sort of stuff or it will happen more often.

Something should be done about this sort of carry on, I nearly bought this head off M1key, and then it would have been me out off pocket to the tune of Ԛ£100 whatever? instead it was chu346 that got done i feel for you mate, it stinks to think that a zoner can rip a fellow zoner off! Dave

In answer to the question, the jetronic and motronic heads are different.

Jetronic 2.0/2.3 heads are casting number 200 with small inlet and exhaust ports similar to the 525e whereas the Motronic 2.0 has the 731 casting with larger ports.

i have a 731 head here if anyone interested
