Midlands Festival of Transport - Weston Park, Shropshire

I have attended this show many times as both an exhibitor and a visitor. Its always been good. Its in its 22nd year now.

Sunday 12th April and Monday 13th April 2009.

Cost is £2.00 per car to show, but its 8 quid per person to visit. it makes sense to show your car...

come on guys. this is on teh same day as a planned midlands meet, but its got the approval to make the meet here so we can show and meet at the same time...

I think it would be a bit too much for a first meet for most people in the midlands. Maybe we can do a show here on the next date?

Personally i think this should be seperate from the new meet we are trying to get off the ground, may be too much of a carry on for some.

It will be hard enough to get some people to turn up to a meet at a pub thats free, let alone a show where thay will have to pay, all be it £2.00 and prepare their car as well.

Just my thoughts, hope you get a few interested, i may pop along on the Monday for a butchers at some old stuff.

i emailed the show organisers. we need min of 5 and max of 25 for a stand.

if people prefer to meet up on this day elsewhere than thats fine, but i am also willing to organise the booking of the stand if thats whats wanted.
