Here's some pics of my 325i Cab, no future plans as such except replacing rear bumper as I've had a little accident and just getting the skirts repaired from underneath and fitting the original E30 shape wing mirrors back on colour coded. But before all that happens just broken down today, car wouldn't start and looks like it could be electrical fault of some sort but luckily not the cambelt so very happy!

Here's a pic with old wheels on.

And the new ones!

WTF are those things on your rear lights. Halfords tat, not for the E30 in my eyes.

I was also in complete shock and so simply closed the browser down and went to lay in a dark room.

I'm all for people having different takes on things but that is wrong. There are alot of words I could use to describe it but nobody wants to have their "pride and joy" slated on a public forum so I won't. I do agree though that everything said does make sense.

Welcome to the forum then Gouki :)

I was heartened when I read "no future plans as such except replacing rear bumper..." ....... then I saw it!... and realised this car does need modifying after all!

Seriously... each to their own... it looks in good nick, if you like it, that's all that matters... with a little work it could look really nice and I've seen some stuff on this forum... yours isn't the worst by any means

LOL... i was waiting for that... I knew I'd have to defend myself... I'll have to have a look and see... trouble is, I don't want to upset anyone, it really is down to individual taste.

'Lexus' rear lights are pretty hideous, some of the plastic kits I've seen leave a bit to be desired, then there's some of the wheels people like... I think they're truely awful, and ruin a beautiful car, but they obviously love them... each to his own

Lose the wing vents and M3 mirrors and the rear light grilles and paint the front grille back to black and it might not look so horrific.

No offense fella but that's not my cup of tea, but each to your own.

If Stevie Wonder was ever to own an E30 and try and modify it, thats how I guess it would look like.

wow you guys are like a pack of wolves thanx for the nice comments lol. Well just had my mechanic look at my car and it needs a new fuel pump hence why i broke down. Once i get that sorted, new replacement rear bumper and nope not gonna spray the front grill black again, know you guys dont like it but it gives it a much more updated appearance. Rear lights I'm getting replaced with clears and no not the lexus ones, seen those hate em. And don't worry will be getting rid of the badges and vent on the wings, trying to get hold of the original BMW ones.

Hi mate,

There's nothing else to add really but I feel compelled to reply. You have got an E30 in there somewhere

Each to their own and all that but you gotta pay some respect to the car, it doesn't deserve some of that Nova/Corsa/Saxo/Escort/Civic-esque kit, lights, side vents you've got on.

We're all individuals and it's your car but believe me, you can get the right kind of attention in other ways.

Alright mate,

Welcome to the zone, and i think your car is generally sweet, nice wheels

BUT: The red grill does NOT make it look more modern, trust me.

If u want it to look modern DE chrome it, think about it, hardly any new cars have chrome and i guarantee u it will look newer / better

Most zoners do it on here, just ask around

It will look a million bucks.

(can any 1 host a sig pic for me??? pleeezzzeeee)

Gouki,
Just seen the pictures of the red rag top and the comments from the other e30 owners 8O ...

Some comments are harsh but I think what the other E30 owners are saying is that you are obviously mad about this Beema and have spent thousands of Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£ now it's time to spend some TIME to reflect and remove the 5% of mistakes (I think you will know by the above posts what they are!!)

Once this is done you will have a tidy car and streets ahead of the "clowns around town" in front wheel drive trash.

To the other E30 members remember he could have bought so many other cars but his first choice has shown he does have some taste...

Can we start a campaign against Halfords tat??

ok ok ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i got my car back from the body shop to get a few bodywork repairs done, now the rear lights are gone with new ones which you may not like but do look better than the old ones on there now! Original wing mirrors are back on and the original side indicators are back on as well. Bad news I can't really remove the BMW side stickers on the front wings because I have removed one of them and its not left a nice residue I can take off so looks as though superglue been used. I'm stuck with them for now.

Wrong you have no idea that the kind of guy I am so get your facts straight for a start. Number 1, I didn't do the mods on this car, Number 2, I bought the car like this because apart from the minor things that are deemed wrong with the car I liked it and bought it.

The only things I've done on this car is the wheels, suspension because it was too low, rear lights, side indicators and wing mirrors.

Pics hopefully 2moro if it dont rain.
