Since I have registered to this site I have just been lurking in the shadows, but after I finally bought this e30 cabby this weekend I thought I would put up some pics for you guys, to see what you think. I bought the car off a genuine e30 enthusiast who was part of a members club and all. Its been driven very little having only accumulated 59,500 miles since new. But have a look and see what you think love to hear your comments on it.

It's facelift so it would be Tech 2. I would keep it standard. Looks really nice 8)

I'd say: change the number plates and that's done. Lovely looking car, best left as it came out of the factory.

Get hold of some colour coded bumpers and it will look miles better. Good buy (as long as it didn't cost the earth of course!).

Yea at the moment I think thats the best idea, I'll have to look into it. I had a limit of how much I had to spend and after looking around didn't think I would get one for that amount but in the end I was very lucky with this one.

Thanks! I bought the car from a man in Canterbury, Kent. It was a good 100 miles from me but I am glad I travelled that far its a great purchase so far.

Yes the gentleman I bought it off had it advertised on a classified ad on ebay I saw it last Friday and on sunday travelled there and bought it, he was very pleasant and had immense love for the car as was evident when I walked into the living room and saw a huge framed photo of it on the wall :o

Very, very nice, Jatt! It's great to see a cab in it's standard form. If it were me I'd just maintain it, drive it, and of course, love it :) Good luck!

Very best of luck with it, shes a beauty. If it were mine, I'd leave her as is, factory original cars are a rare sight these days. Lets hope you get a summer so you can use it as intended. :D

Kidda, yes indeed it is a clean motor thanks. I bought the car for £2,500 after a bit of negotiating.

I didn't want to make a new thread for this but was wondering how I would find out what engine my cabby has, as I have been seeing people talking about m50's and what not. Is it on the log book? Thanks in advance
