Headlight Switch

Small question,
should the main headlight switch light up when lights are turned on?
Is there a bulb inside?
How do i remove switch?

There is a bulb behind the switch, and it lights up on ignition.

Drop the underdash panel, and there's 2 iirc 6/8mm nuts holding it, undo these and pull through the dash.

Bulb fits into the orange thingy at the top of the switch,just pushes in.It's a 1.2 watt capless bulb,BTW.If your fingers are flexible enough,you may be able to reach it with the switch in place,as one of the 8mm nuts is difficult if more than finger tight.
