Hi guys.. Sorry for the lack of contact, Ive been away.. Though I've realised there is an issue with the way they've done camber/toe tabs, which I stupidly didn't realise last time I was up, so I am going to have to go up there again and speak to them!
They were supposed to have begun sending them out, but whilst it appears I will have to hold their hand over that, it is a good thing they haven't. I was going to go up today but I had something unexpected to do so that got blown out.
Apologies for this dragging on, but I shall chase it up and get them sorted as soon as possible!

Right guys, been up and spoken to them..
Think Ive got is sorted, they are having to scrap 1/2 the batch though
It will require a small chamfer on the eccentric bolts/washers due to how they have made them, but that isn't a huge issue. They will be running the remainder of them off, and I will be speaking to them again in a couple of days to start getting them sent out.
Again apologies this has dragged out longer than planned, but hopefully everyone will have their orders asap!

It looks they will require a little "modification" with file.scaraveos wrote:"It will require a small chamfer on the eccentric bolts/washers due to how they have made them,"

Hopefully won't be much work required though

Yep, just a small notch taken off the bolts by the sounds of it...
Dan, You should make them do them abit cheaper or refund to cover posting them out to us since they didn't meet the brief

Yeah that is exactly what I mean.. It is unfortunate, but not much is needed, they've already had to scrap 1/2 the batch so I felt a compromise was best in order to keep it all on track..

While we are talking about our new rear-end rebuild, what sort of camber and toe are ye all thinking of running?

I'm going to set the ride height on the coilovers and get the geometry set to near enough standard on the tourer.
Mine are to reduce the camber due to lowering and help prolong rear tyre life expecancy through reduced inner edge tyre wear.

Not sure what I'll get...
Maybe -2 toe on the front and zero toe at the rear
about 1.5 degrees of negative camber on the rear with around 2-2.5 degrees on the front with some adjustable topmounts.
Fook inner edge tyre wear, that's what a mate that'll rotate your tyres for a pint are for
Please, nobody take these alignment figures seriously as I could well be talking shit as I'm alittle bit drunk, lol

2mm neg on the front is roughly the factory setting(within factory specs anyway).
I've had 3mm neg toe in, which gives a sharp turn in,combined with 1.75 ish neg camber and a small camber adjustment.
Had it reset to 2mm neg toe in but i may go back to about 2.5mm toe in.
Rear is just lowered at the moment with factory non adjustable settings

It's toe that eats the tyres mainly anyway, not camber.

Yep, that's why I was going to leave the toe at 2 and zero
With the E46 rack and eccentric bushings, Turn in is pretty good at the moment anyway
