Hi everyone, I've had acouple of e30's I've got a 320 convertible at the moment that I'm using and doing up. My father has had a 1993 e34 520 touring for a while now, it's a good car but where the hell do you sell them? I'm not that keen on ebay as you always get mucked around on it and autotrader is useless. I've found 1 e34 forum and after joining it they tell you you have to of put loads of posts on before you can advertise anything, stupid or what. When I sold my last e30 I just put it on here, and it went without any bother at all, but does anyone have any ideas where to sell and e34 touring?

pistonheads? local rag?
E34 x 1 - V8 + lots of CF
E30 x 2 - Tourings (1 x M50, 1 x M40)
RS6 C5 - Stage 1 remap - 500bhp

pistonheads is a bit exclusive though, isn't it...I mean prior to peeing about with a 306 I had no idea what pistonheads was..
My suggestion is to Ebay it with a nice advert, plenty of description and at the end put 'people with feedback 20+' and '£100 deposit on auction end' That should weed out the monkeys

Try using ebay, but place it as a classified. Then you dont get messers. Friday-ad can be quite good too.

You could try:
http://forum.bmw5.co.uk (but you need to pay £10 to be a Gold Member to advertise)

1987 Henna Rot M3 (was 195bhp CAT..now more and no cat)

I've always found Autotrader to be good for buying and selling cars so quite suprised to hear you say that you think its useless - I think its gotten expensive to advertise over the last couple of Years, but in terms of reaching a wide audience its probably the best way to advertise - certainly the older generation would probably look at auto trader before looking on Ebay - and lets face it an E34 520i Touring isn't going to appeal to many people under 30.

Put for sale in your sig, don't think the mods object, and if they do, one of them has an mr2 for sale in their sig! I could be tempted if I knew how much, mileage and location. Otherwise I would say auto trader or something.
