ive searched pretty heavily for bolt on arches like those for my track car. seems ireland are the only folks who supply them.

be careful with these.....i believe the ireland engineering ones are designed for a pre-facelift car so they wont fit a post-face car properly without some work to adapt them. they are ABS plastic so they wont be as easy to adapt as fibregash would be. thats whats put me off buying them, that and the price for a potentially useless product.

im considering making my own but havent figured out how yet.
They're actually designed for a 2002. You need to trim them back for an E30 and from memory, swap sides or front to rear. Done properly, they are good.

Same as this.
interesting, i got a few snippets of fitting from US sites and they all said it was far easier on preface cars than it was on postface. something to do with the wheelarch being higher on a postface.

Possibly due to the way the bumper fits on?

Right, going to dig this up again.

Just been down to the local scrapyard, and ridded a fine example (read 50p size rust hole in front wing) of a 940 wentworth of it's spoiler.

I've used a jigsaw to cut off the volvo mounting brackets, and went to offer it up to see where the sides would need trimming. Unfortunatly the do-what-you-likeys who nicked my iS lip failed to remove the clips, and I can't do it without jacking the car up. Fading light is preventing this so I will continue tomorrow.

In the meantime, could Eko or anyone who has done this tell me what they used to trim the sides to a nice neat edge. I'm thinking I could get a pretty good cut with the jigsaw, but I dont really want obvious score marks on the sides.

Any suggestions?

I have a set of these. winkeye

The 02 arhces are NLA from memory, and these are cheap-ish. Made of ABS plastic but don't follow the trim line on the E30 (where the rubbing strip is) so you'll need to blend them in somehow. Still look good though!

I put a piece of masking tapeacross the front panel-spoiler and drawn a guide line then used a fine blade in the jigsaw, quick file off, remove tape and admire :D
